Rancid “Corazon de Oro”

Though he states that he’s “all alone,” Rancid’s Tim Armstrong has written a pretty good ode to a girl who must exist out there somewhere. Definitely a stand-out track from what is arguably Rancid’s best album.

NOFX “Falling In Love”

The subject matter might be dark, but it’s punk rock, and it’s NOFX — what do you expect? They deserve bonus points for being able to write a touching love song about two people who are about to die in a flaming plane wreck.

Descendents “Silly Girl”

Whatever your mood, Descendents have a song to match it. Heartbroken? Listen to “Hope.” Feeling smothered? “She Loves Me.” But if you want to celebrate your love, listen to “Silly Girl,” “Marriage,” or “Nothing With You.”

The Dead Milkmen “Punk Rock Girl”

Everybody needs a girl (or a boy) like this in their life.

Ramones “Baby I Love You”

The Ramones wrote plenty of incredible love songs (“I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and “Oh, Oh, I Love Her So,” among others), but this cover of “Baby I Love You” is the most hopelessly romantic song ever performed by a punk band.
