The Portland Mercury reports that Pacific Northwest rockers Bangs (Kill Rock Stars) and The Need (Chainsaw Records, KRS) will be reuniting to perform a benefit concert for Natalie Cox. Cox was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Angiosarcoma, and an organization known as Team Natalie is accepting donations, as well as setting up the special one-off concert. The show will take place (also with C Average and Thrones) on July 23rd at Berbati’s Pan in Portland, Oregon. Tickets area available here. This will be The Need’s first show since 2001, and the Bangs’ first show since ’04.
