Autumn Owls have announced their first US tour since appearing at last year’s CMJ when they released their debut album Between Buildings, Toward The Sea.
The tour kicks off at the Rock Shop in Brooklyn on February 27, 2013 and features an appearance at Savannah Stopover Festival (March 9th) before wrapping up in Austin at SXSW. Joining them for the US tour is New York’s The End Of America, a folk band with a DIY punk ethos featuring members of Call It Arson and Triangle Shirt Factory. SXSW parties and Canadian Music Week shows will be announced soon.
Epitonic.com launched Autumn Owls’ debut as their first label release this past October. Recorded in Chicago with Brian Deck (Califone, Modest Mouse) the album received critical praise in Europe and the US.
