Ash Black Bufflo is Jay Clarke (keyboardist for Delorean, Holy Sons and Grails) Andasol, his first solo album, is nearly unclassifiable. It plays like an 18-song, hour-long mix-tape looping Steve Reich-inspired sound collage, field recordings, Moondog styled street romps, fuzzed-out spaghetti western gloom, foggy tape hiss ponderings, concise violin pieces, experimentation on treated piano and so much more.
