Brooklyn Vegan reports that the New York Dolls will be releasing their fifth full-length album (and third since reuniting in 2004 after a 28-year-hiatus!) entitled Dancing Backwards in High Heels. The album drops on March 15th on 429 Records.

The band have scheduled a show to take place on March 16th at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom — tickets go on sale today at noon, and the show is the band’s only confirmed 2011 date.
