The Dickies played a club show at PRB a few years ago, which was intimate and great, but seeing them on the Punk Rock Bowling 2017 main stage was a delight. They played a lot of golden oldies and even joked about being older than Iggy Pop (who headlined on Saturday), which may or may not be true.

Bouncing Souls are all older gentlemen at this point as well, but have aged very gracefully. They sound fantastic and treated fans with songs new and old. The chemistry that band has is unmatched. Then Choking Victim took the stage and delivered their brand of crust punk ska to the crowd. Politics and guitar upstrokes at break neck speed straight to our faces.

Headlining the night was Bad Religion, always a crowd-pleaser. They started off strong with “American Jesus” and played heavy hitter after heavy hitter until the very end of their set.
