SmashTV, a Vimeo station describing itself as a curator of “long-form entertainment for a generation of YouTube junkies looking for their next fix,” have compiled a 50-minute video compilation entitled Memorex.

The entire video is a collage of clips of television ads from the 1980s, culled from 40 hours worth of material “pulled from warped VHS tapes,” played over hypnotic music. The end result is Koyaanisqatsi-like, but with more dayglo and breakdancing.
