For the second time in two nights, Shahab Zargari headed to the LVCS to cap off another long day of loud music at Punk Rock Bowling 2012. Sunday night featured a lineup of classic late-’70s California punk bands, including Agent Orange and Penelope Houston’s legendary Avengers — the first-ever punk rock outfit to spring up in San Francisco, pre-dating even the Dead Kennedys. Houston has recently re-released the long out-of-print Avengers compilation album, originally released in 1983 — four years after the band broke up in 1979.
